One Day My Prince Will Come....

How many times are you supposed to kiss them again?...

Or could he just be a piece of pond life out to fool me?

Watch out, the ducks are coming!

Hmm, I wonder what you get if you kiss a duck...

A prison sentence, probably.

It's all happening in my garden folks! Butterfly invasion next.

If you kiss a duck it turns into a duke. Less good than a prince, but less horrid than kissing a frog..

LOL. Oooooh, butterfly kisses are the best! Ducks don't have lips so they don't kiss well. You only get a peck, not very romantic. What a fun post! :)

A greasy grip, plus the bad breath knocks one over!

You will get a bad reputation if nothing else-duck kisser!

Never kiss a frog. They tend to use the tongue and rip out your tonsils.

If you kiss a duck, he slips you the bill.

Obviously.

Hey, you live in Snow White's freakin' nature garden, too! I have duck envy. I think they could take the squirrels.

Well, I have to say that I have always thought that the idea of kissing frogs and them turning into princes was jolly silly. It makes far more sense to go around kissing a few ducklings - they are less slimy and there is a chance one of them might be a swan in disguise.

I really really love ducks actually. I think they are so cute.

It sounds as if Steve has had a bad experience with a frog or two!

Gina, a diet of flies and slugs doesn't make for sweet breath...

Hi there - I've tagged you for a meme and hope you can participate! There is never any pressure from me but I'd love to see your answers if you can do it. :)

LucyFishWife - good idea, but like Teeni, not sure ducks are known for their lips. Butterflies might be the best bet since they are already handsome! Might turn into fairies though!

WWW - ah, there speaks the voice of experience! Thank you!

Mrs G - I fear you are right!

Steve, what were YOU hoping to get?

Very droll, Rol!

Not sure ducks are known for their squirrel killing prowess Moi, though I did see one with an AK47 in the garden the other day...

RB, yes I was never allowed fairy tales or 'silly nonsense' as my parents termed them as a child. Perhaps that's why I'm having a belated fairy tale spell! You are spot on about ducklings being cuter though.

Steve, I won't even enquire as to your dietary cut-backs since the new arrival!

Sagittarian - hopefully I will get out more when I get insurance money for my former car, but you are right!

Teeni, I shall be right over to your site before the day is out to read your meme with interest! Been a bit of a hectic week this week.
