Worse still are those new breed of shopping centre multi-storey's where they give you three spaces, then position the pillars over half of each of the outside spaces, leaving just one in the middle.
Worst nightmare involves being parked in by those "Merivale Tracters" (ok, in UK I guess the equivalent might be a "Paddington tracter")...had one either side of me recently and I swear it took me three weeks to get out of the park!!

Perhaps there is a sneaky anti-car policy going on in these places.

Quite. Hideous, pumped-up, steroid vehicles... I really think there should be a different license for acquiring them!
